Hey Chad, I wanted to give you an update on my experience with your product. First, let me say that it does what you say it does. It’s easy to apply and stays put. I originally put the first pack on without a heat gun. Surprisingly, only one magazine had the front panels peel at the corners. I pushed them back down and this time hit them with the heat gun. Nearly six months later and still firmly stuck to the magazine. Since then, I’ve applied all the rest per your instructions and not one failure. I live in the southwestern desert and let me say that it not only gets really hot but can be bone chillingly cold at times. Some of these magazines permanently reside in my vehicle and the Maggrips have stayed in place through all of these temperature extremes. I have even found a use for the left over traction material. It fits perfectly on the bottom of myammo cans. For the 30 cal. cans the long side goes along the long side of the can and for the 50 cal. cans it goes the other direction. Thanks for a great product and customer service. Lieutenant Robert Michalik Texas Department of Criminal Justice

Well it looks like Magpul is releasing a new pmag. This will be the 3rd version of revised pmags. They will also be coming out with a slim line of floor plates only to be compatible with the new Pmag M3. We will be releasing new grip kits for these mags once they are released. The next-generation PMAG 30 M3 MagLevel is a 30-round 5.56×45 NATO (.223 Remington) polymer magazine for AR15/M16 compatible weapons that features transparent windows to allow rapid visual identification of approximate number of rounds remaining. Along with expanded feature set and compatibility, the M3 MagLevel incorporates new material technology and manufacturing processes for enhanced strength, durability, and reliability to exceed rigorous military performance specifications. Modified internal and external geometry also permits operation with a wide range of non Colt®-spec platforms such as the HK® 416 and MR556A1, M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S, and others. A redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine provides increased bolt catch clearance, while an over-travel stop on the spine helps ensure the magazine will not over-insert on compatible weapons. Similar to the standard PMAG 30, the M3 MagLevel features a long-life stainless steel spring, four-way anti-tilt follower and constant-curve internal geometry for reliable feeding, and simple tool-less disassembly to ease cleaning. In addition, a included pop-off Impact/Dust Cover can optionally be used to minimize debris intrusion and protect against potential damage during storage and transit. Low profile ribs and new aggressive front and rear texture gives positive control of the PMAG 30 M3 in all environments, and a paint pen dot matrix has been added to the bottom panel of the the body to allow easy marking by the end user for magazine identification. The easy to disassemble standard flared floorplate provides drop protection and aids extraction, but can be replaced by the optional PMAG Ranger Plate for increased handling or slim-line internal floorplate for improved compatibility with most double and triple magazine pouches. Durable dual-side transparent windows allow for quick determination of approximate number of rounds remaining in the magazine. Utilizing a high visibility indicator coil on the spring and numerical markers on the magazine body, the MagLevel system provides positive verification without affecting the durability or reliability of the magazine.
